Tofield Legion President bestowed Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal at ceremony in Vegreville Saturday

Hugh Carter, President of Tofield’s Royal Canadian Legion, was one of 30 recipients of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal Saturday night in Vegreville.

Making the presentations were Leon Benoit, Vegreville-Wainwright MP.

Benoit gave a speech in the House of Commons Sept. 19 stating he would be hosting ceremonies to honour 30 constituents in his riding with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal award.
