Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps (Nootka) Silent Auction and Dinner raises $5,000 for program

Guests at the Sea Cadet Corps Nootka fundraiser put their names down for donated items at the silent auction.

The local Sea Cadet Corps (RCSCC Nootka) and the Navy League of Canada Holden Branch started off their training year with a successful event on Friday, Oct. 19th.

The Holden Branch held a silent auction and dinner to help raise funds for RCSCC Nootka.

Tickets were sold in advance for the ham and scallop potato dinner, which included a silent auction and a 50/50 draw. Many local businesses in Beaver County as well as private citizens donated items that went up for auction at this event.
