Tofield RCMP report: Scary moose hits on highways among routine police calls

Nov. 10: Police attended a neighbour dispute in Holden. There had been some long standing issues and both parties were spoken to and the matter was resolved.

  Nov. 10: Police were called to assist the ambulance in Ryley dealing with an intoxicated male. Police were cancelled before they arrived as the matter was well in hand.

Nov. 10: Report of a hit and run to a parked truck in the 44th Street area of Tofield. The truck was parked in front of a residence when an unknown vehicle struck it. The matter is still under investigation.

Nov. 10: Report of a car versus moose on Hwy. 833 in the evening. The car, a small Cavalier, survived but the much larger moose sadly did not.  Thankfully there were no injuries to the driver of the car.
