The hockey tournament is dedicated to the memory of Pat Donnan who passed away in December of 2002, and who represented the true meaning of “loving the game” of hockey.

He was a dedicated volunteer at the arena and inspired many people with his great smile and warm heart.

The opening games on Friday night were played by the Tofield teams.

Tofield Titans B team played first at the Tofield Arena against the Camrose Snipers. The first period saw each team scoring a goal to tie the game at one point each. The second period Tofield scored their second goal and their third goal in the third period sealed their win at 3-1.
