Tofield Mayor gives progress report from 2012 and plans for 2013

Tofield Mayor Nabil Chehayeb says he is grateful for the accomplishments of the previous year and looks forward to another year of benefitting the community.

“I just want to wish everybody a happy belated New Year and the warmest Christmas and holiday greetings,” he said, in his year-end/New Year address to the people of Tofield.

“I am very happy to serve in this lovely community that I call home and I’m very pleased to have the council I have to work with and the extremely knowledgeable people on the staff. You feel their dedication and commitment to the town,” he said.

“I’m also grateful for the good neighbours,” he continued, including Beaver County Council and county support staff, all the people on the various committees, commissions and facilities in this region.
