Tofield skater takes Bronze in Pairs Competitions at Figure Skating Championships – achieves both her personal goals

Taylor and Christopher glide in sync as they perform in the Novice Pairs Long Program at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships Tuesday.

Taylor LeClaire took the Bronze Medal with partner Christopher Mostert, 17, in the pairs competition at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships on Tuesday.

Taylor said in a recent interview with The Mercury that she “loves to jump and spin,” and felt her medal chances were good in this competition.

At just 15, she and Chris took to the podium as representatives of the Ice Palace Figure Skating Club at West Edmonton Mall.

Her instincts concerning the skating pair’s chances proved correct, and Taylor’s mother, Carrie, was thrilled with the outcome.
