County hears from both sides in debate on proposed zoning changes to areas around municipal landfills

A public hearing was held by Beaver County Council to hear from residents concerning land use proposals that would lead to changes in the municipal development plan and land use bylaw affecting landfills.

Those attending at the Ryley Community Centre on Wednesday, April 17 had differing views of the subject, although more spoke against the proposals. In the end, the council was left with a lot of opinions and insights to think over before proceeding further.
