Tofield students present Night of One Act Plays – Score wins at festival in Ardrossan

In “The First Date” one-act play performed at the Zone 3 festival in Ardrossan, Brad, played by Braden Spacil, and Delia, played by Jazmin Roe, awkwardly try to get to know one another on their first blind date. Roe was awarded an Honourable Mention for Most Outstanding Female Supporting Role.

Tofield High School students enrolled in Drama 10, 20, and 30 spent several months preparing for the “Night of One Acts” April 19th.

The gym was filled with friends, family, and other people from the community to cheer on the students competing for three spots in festivals in Ardrossan.

The acts that were eventually chosen to go on to the festival were “The First Date,” “Bomb Art,” and “The Monster Hunters.” Tofield students did an outstanding job at the Zone 3 One Act Festival held in Ardrossan April 29th to May 1st.
