Fun for all at Holden Farmers’ Day

The weekend of fun at the Holden Farmers’ Day began Friday night with the “Bob Layton Show” at the Beaver Arts Centre.

Saturday morning featured a pancake breakfast at the Complex, followed by the parade through the village streets.

After that, there was a Holden Fire and Rescue Department barbecue, a Farmers’ Day Market, Farmers’ Day photo exhibit at the museum, Studio 14 Art Gallery exhibits, Soapbox Derby, activities for the kids such as the petting zoo, inflatables, and face competition.

Fans were also able to take in a Blue Jays tournament and Holden-Ryley Peewee ball tournament.

The evening featured supper at the complex, followed by live entertainment, photo show and Amazing Face Competition, and free hot dogs and pop. The day full of fun for all ended with a fabulous display of fireworks.
