After 65 years of clipping and cutting, it was time to for Nick Kobzey to tuck his tools of the trade away.

But even he admitted that he might not be able to end that chapter of his life. But his wife Lill and children Clarence and Gladys are more than willing to help Nick turn a new page in his life.

In fact, all of the Kobzeys were at the barber shop and hair salon on Saturday, May 31 in Mundare, to host an open house to officially mark Nick’s last day of work.

“You didn’t tell me about the reunion,” joked Doug Herrick, who was more than happy to take a seat in his chair. The Ryley resident didn’t realize it was Nick’s last day on the job, but he and his wife wished him all the best and stayed for refreshments and a short visit.
