Tofield School Awards Night 21015 – Justine Telawsky receives Governor-General’s Award

The Tofield School Annual Awards Night 2015 was held Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Tofield Mennonite Church with Kayla Hunt and Jake Telawsky acting as Masters of Ceremony for the gala occasion.

Guests included Brett Huculak, Assistant Superintendent, Personnel; Rebecca Heiberg, Battle River School Division Board trustee; Kevin Smook, Beaver County Reeve; Harold Conquest, Tofield Mayor; and Jessica Littlewood, MLA for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville.

All brought greetings and congratulated the students for the awards they would receive that evening, which were presented in the following order:

Athletic Awards – Junior Division

Volleyball – Nikki Malica-Hare, Dustin Huebert;
Basketball – Eve Koloski, Dustin Huebert;
Badminton – Nikki Malica-Hare, Shaye Yoder;
Track and Field – Taylor Stanley, Lincoln Miskew/Carter Schoff;
Cross Country – (female) none, Carter Schoff;
Golf – (female) none, Cooper Helman.
