New-Look Satellites have lots of weapons, down Provost Blades 5-3 in Home Opener

Tofield Satellites defenceman Craig Neufeld makes a great defensive play sweeping the puck away from streaking Provost Blades forward Adam Shirley in the first period of the Satellites 6-3

Tofield Satellites showed its superior talent to the home crowd with a 5-3 win that could have gone double digits against the Provost Blades on Saturday night.
The Battle River Hockey League teams played in front of about 100 people at Tofield Arena in what was the Satellites’ home opener for the season.
Satellites have recruited some major talent this season, and it was very apparent in scoring chances, especially in the second frame where the locals dominated play and could have put up many more goals than they did.
