Students learn financial management by running their own mini bank

A grand opening of the new Junior ATB Club took place last Friday morning during the C.W. Sears assembly.

The club was formed by the three Grade 4 classes with the help of ATB employees Lyndal Gillette and Sonia Hrabec of the Tofield branch, who were both leaders and coordinators of the program.

The students were all interviewed to fill 28 positions in this mini-bank, and positions were needed for tellers and greeters. The bank will operate at the library over the school’s lunch hour starting Wednesday, April 27.
