Ride for Dad motorcycles roar into Tofield

The Ride for Dad prostate cancer fundraiser roared into town Saturday morning with motorcyclists looking drenched from the rain that fell on their ride to Tofield. They filled main street, parking their machines along a blocked off stretch of road before heading to the town office for refreshments and a break.

This is the first time the ride has stopped in Tofield and town officials wanted to make it an annual event.

“We’re pleased to welcome the Ride for Dad and we’re hoping this will be one of the first visits to our town,” said Mayor Harold Conquest.
