Beaver County Councillor wants his concerns brought up at Wednesday’s meeting

Beaver County will be addressing several issues at its regular meeting on Wednesday at its chambers in Ryley, including several concerns from Councillor Dale Collison.

Although interested members of the public would have to attend the public meeting at the Beaver County administration building for the lengthy background information, Collison’s issues will be brought up on the back half of the meeting.

“After discussion with Gord Holman yesterday,” said Councillor Collison in an email to CAO Bob Beck. “I would ask you to put the use of the 1 1/2 gravel and our oil problem on the agenda as I do not feel the taxpayers should be on the hook for extra costs as the oil was ordered for a certain road and passed by council and should be used for that road.”

Collison also said he has issue with a culvert by one of his Division 4 ratepayers’ property, which he says, “is not level with the land as nature would have allowed the flow of water to flow naturally, that council’s decision based on administration’s presentation is not the answer now or in the future…”
