Tofield’s mayor graduates from prestigious program

Tofield’s Mayor Harold Conquest (ICD.D) has just graduated from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).

His final oral exam was July 20, and he is now officially done his course to become a better director.

The ICD is a cross Canada organization that provides training and networking opportunities for directors. Their mantra of ‘better your skills, better your board’ encompasses what Conquest hoped to achieve through this training.

The course was taken in four modules spread out from November to May. The classes included topics such as finances, government, and best practices.
