Ryley Pool closed due to mechanical problems – will take at least two to three weeks for repairs

Ryley Pool and Wellness Centre is closed due to mechanical problems. Pool manager Suzie Williams said she gets calls daily from people wanting to use the pool who are forced to wait until repairs are completed.

Williams said this shows just how popular the pool is with swimmers, especially the seniors who rely on their aquasize lessons to help keep them limber.

The pool is run through the local agricultural society. Terry Magneson, the ag society president, said the problem is a broken pump. With the pool over 40 years old, he said there is bound to be original equipment and this one is no exception.
