NO REASON TO HIBERNATE THIS WINTER

Although the fall and winter months can be a source of dread for many, the Don’t Hibernate Fair always offers some hope that these darker months of the year can be full of learning and opportunity.

The Tofield Library is offering a Pokemon Go Party this week and used the fair as a chance to get more people in on the fun. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Sunshine Villa has a new Manager, Lorna Rempel, who takes over after working as manager of the Holden Lodge.

Many youngsters look forward to hockey every year and were busy signing up for the 2016-2017 season. The ice is currently being installed at the Tofield Arena and skating starts on Sept. 24.
