Vegreville man charged in harassment of Beaver County officer

freeman-allen-boisjoliThe name of the Beaver County Peace Officer who issued a speeding ticket last year to a man now charged with “paper terrorism” will not be released at this time.

The Edmonton Police Service have arrested and charged a self-proclaimed Freeman on the Land with intimidation of a justice system participant. The county peace officer was the target of that intimidation, states EPS in a Sept. 19 release.

The speeding ticket was issued in May 2015 and since that time the EPS charges state that the officer who wrote the ticket has been subjected to harassment and court action against him by the recipient of the ticket.

The accused man is Allan Boisjoli, 45, of Vegreville.
