Christmas season begins in Tofield – Winterfest coming this weekend!

The good news is that the Tofield Christmas Market is going to keep going with its annual extravaganza in the Tofield Community Hall that attracts people from around the region.

The Friends of Tofield put on this year’s market, said Terri Mack, who still participates but bowed out last year as the main organizer.

“They want to keep it going,” she said, with a smile and a few tears in her eyes.

She was responsible 12 years ago for starting the market and has been its mainstay for all the years that followed. But now she points to her grandchild as one of the reasons for finally letting go of the reins.
