Tofield School goes pink in support of anti-bullying
Students across Battle River School Division supported the National Anti-Bullying Day held on Feb. 29th.
Tofield School encouraged students and staff to wear pink to symbolize their non-tolerance of bullying.
National Anti-bullying Day began in 2007 when teenagers David Shep-herd and Travis Price from Nova Scotia and their friends put together a demonstration to wear pink in empathy for a boy who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.
