RCMP deals with disturbances and break-ins

Tofield RCMP have dealt with a range of disturbances over the reporting week.

On Friday, March 2, Tofield RCMP were notified of a suspicious vehicle which had struck the ditch in a rural location southwest of Tofield.

Sgt. Jim Warren reports that police attended the scene and took three people into custody to stay overnight in cells. “All the subjects were highly intoxicated,” said Warren. Charges are pending.

On Saturday, March 3, a male was arrested while causing a disturbance on Tofield’s main street. He was lodged in cells overnight and released when sobre.
