Stuff the bus campaign gets local support

The Tofield-Ryley Christmas Hamper Program got a big boost this past Saturday with the “Stuff the Bus!” event at the Tofield IGA parking lot.

The weather was wet and snowy but that didn’t deter the number of people coming into he parking lot of the Tofield IGA.

“It’s nice, there’s so many things going on,” said Cheri Stelkovics, chair of the Christmas Hamper Program. “It’s a good time to do all your shopping.”

She also acknowledged the help of the Alliance Church Pastor Chris Ulriksen and his youth group, who come out every year to run the barbecue so people can enjoy a hot dog and hot drink to keep the cold at bay.
