Police believe series of thefts and break-ins over holidays related

Police believe a series of thefts and break-ins, including stolen cars and a safe, are all connected to the same group of thieves who were travelling through the area over the holidays.
The incidents began when a break and enter resulted in the theft of a safe at the Holden Complex in the early morning hours of Dec. 23.
Also broken into were the Ryley Curling Club, where the concession was robbed, and a vehicle in Holden, where items left inside were taken.
During that same time frame, a vehicle that had been stolen in Strome was recovered west of Tofield. A truck from the same area was then taken and later recovered in Camrose.
“We believe that this is all part of the same group of people,” said Warren. Police believe the Tofield vehicle was dropped off in Camrose before thieves took another vehicle with a quad attached…
