Killam RCMP seize suspect vehicle and sniper rifle – Tofield members help at original crime scene

Killam RCMP report they have recovered the black 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with license plate UZE 545 AB, believed to have been used by Sawyer Clarke Robison, 27, following the incident when two RCMP officers were shot executing a search warrant Feb. 7 on a farm southeast of Sedgewick.

Shots were exchanged and one man at the scene died. Robison escaped and was later charged with two counts of attempted murder.

An active search for Robison was conducted until he turned himself in on Feb. 10.

Tofield and Viking detachment members were on scene and have been involved in the incident.
