Tofield Junior Boys’ basketball team heads to regional finals

The Tofield Junior High Boys’ basketball team has had an excellent season this year with a 9-1 record in their division.

Coach Carmen Koop is pleased with how well the boys have played so far this year. The team will be heading to regionals Feb. 24-25, ranked first place in their division.

Only the first three seated teams at the end of the season in each division make it to regional playoffs. The team has 15 players including: Jakob Butler, Nash Winder, Brayden Tracy, Luke Schoff, Denis Didushenko, Vladic Didushenko, Jace Roe, Zack Roth, Zack Kastendieck, Brendon Hauch, Kyle Kaplan, Riley Ferguson, Sam Cahoon, Keenan Koop and Skyler Heidt.
