March meeting of Tofield Chamber of Commerce

Loretta Kroeker gave the heads up on an up-coming workshop titled “Migrant Routes.”

The workshop is promoted by the Beaver County Health Committee, and will explain the vulnerabilities and diverse communities that emerge when migrant workers, temporary foreign workers, and immigrants come to our community.

As our community be-comes more diverse, many organizations are looking for information about the challenges faced by newcomers when coming to Canada.

The workshop is Friday, April 27, 2012 in the Ryley Legion..
