They came out in their best finery, looking like young adults ready to take on the world. And they didn’t fail to impress the many family, friends, special guests and teachers who were there to help them celebrate this significant milestone in their lives.

The graduating class of 2012 was composed of 40 students, including David Abel, Dustin Abel, Francis Audet, Emily Damberger, Shanna de Leeuw, Cassie Digout, Aralyn Estay, Justin Gag-ne, Samantha Giegold, Alesha Goodhope, Matt-hew Henriksen, Ashley Hodgson, Madison Hor-vat, Rebecca Hurlburt, Keisha Ibbotson, Browyn Janiten, Curtis Klippen-stein, Brandon Lehman, Holli Mack, Amanda Mackowosky, Joshua Mandrusiak, Gregory McLeod, Jessica Mye-rink, Krista Nadon, Kay-la Nickel, Brooke Penner, Cody Pomfret, Zachery Reimer, Corrine Rude, Brandon Saumer, Alayna Schmidt, Alexander Sch-midt, Joshua Schmidt, Austin Schultz, Jorden Springer, Tammi-Jo Stoltz, Jaden Thompson, Roberta Tiedemann, Jill-ian Volk, and Lana Wilson.

Master of ceremonies for the evening was drama teacher Melissa Korpan.

“They’re an exuberant group, life has been interesting,” she said. “This grad class holds a special place in my heart,” as the first Grade 8 class she taught when coming to Tofield.”
