Tofield RCMP attend to thefts, break-ins and fights

Tofield RCMP report attending a break and enter on the night of June 22 at a residence in Ryley while occupants were not at home. Entry was gained by smashing the glass in the front door.

Sgt. Jim Warren states it is not known whether anything was taken, although nothing appeared to be missing. There are no suspects at this time.

On June 24, police attended a report of a break and enter of a holiday trailer at a rural location southwest of Tofield. Items in the trailer were thrown around but nothing appeared to be missing.

Two thefts were reported June 29 from wellsites northeast of Holden. Warren said a chart metre was taken from each site.
