32 Volunteers Saturday, 20 Sunday to pre-assemble playground equipment

“We are done with the pre-assembly of the playground equipment at the school…well, as much as we can do until the site dries out!” says Cheryl McCartney.

“Thanks to all the volunteers who came out.

“Our installers have never seen volunteers work so efficiently!! It was nice to see former students, parents, parents of kids who have since moved on from Sears, former staff, existing staff, our new VP, our Mayor and caring members of the community!

“We had 32 volunteers yesterday and another 20 today. THANKS EVERYONE!!! We will need volunteers in the coming weeks, but until then enjoy the sunshine as we patiently wait for water to evaporate.
