Tofield RCMP deal with impaireds and explosions

On Aug. 31, Tofield RCMP issued a roadside suspension and vehicle seizure to a motorist who failed a breathalizer.

RCMP received a report Aug. 31 of a truck theft that had occurred overnight in Tofield. The vehicle was subsequently located in Edmonton on Sept. 3 and returned to its owner.

RCMP investigated an Aug. 31 complaint of an indecent act in Ryley in which an 11-year-old girl was mooned by a young male known to her.

On Sept. 2, police arrested a male who was found passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle in the early morning hours on a road just outside Tofield. The car was running with no lights on, said Warren. The man was arrested and charged with driving over .08 blood alcohol limit.
