Holden Village Councillor resigns – byelection set for Dec. 3

Carissa Oswald has resigned her position as a Holden Village councillor as of the last meeting of council on Sept. 17.
A by-election for one council position has been set for Dec. 3.
CAO Katherine White-side is to prepare a certificate of appreciation and council honourarium for Oswald.
Oswald first came into the village council in a by-election held Oct. 26, 2009, winning against two other candidates.
She ran again in the 2010 municipal election a year later and won with 84 votes.
