Tofield mayor praises outgoing RCMP commander: also new plant opening
Tofield Mayor Nabil Chehayeb spoke on several matters during an interview last Wednesday.
Chehayeb expressed his sadness at the retirement of RCMP commander Jim Warren, gave an update on the work of the Beaver Regional Partnership, and called the large vessels going through a school zone in Tofield on their way north “an accident waiting to happen.”
Chehayeb said his initial reaction to hearing that Tofield Commander Sgt. Jim Warren was retiring was one of sadness for the community.
