Lindbrook resident wins sofa design contest

Holly Dyrland’s love of the artistic and the beautiful isn’t just an aesthetic quality she carries in her heart, soul and memory.

Dyrland is able to do what many of us wish we could – translate those aesthetic longings and yearnings into something tangible, into something the rest of us can also appreciate simply by gazing with our eyes, or touching with our hands.

Tofield can now claim her as one of its own after her family moved out to the Lindbrook area from Calgary two years ago. That includes husband, Conrad, and boys Emmett, 6, Jasper, 5, and Toby, 2.

Dyrland said she appreciates the nature in the area which helped, in part, create her inspirational design of an elegant couch now called the “Holly Sofa.”
