Satellites move to 1 point of second place with a game in hand and two remaining to be played
Tofield Satellites lost 4-3 in OT Friday evening in Sedgewick, but downed Big Valley 8-5 in their own barn on Saturday to move to within a point of second place in the Battle River Hockey League (BRHL) with a game in hand.
The Tofield win combined with a Provost Blades loss to Macklin on Saturday makes second place very possible for the Satellites with only two games remaining on the schedule before playoffs.
Provost plays Hardisty Stampeders in its last regular season game, while Tofield has a home and home against Sedgewick on Saturday evening on the road, and then at Tofield Arena on Sunday.
