Disaster strikes for Satellites in 3rd frame; Daysland ends Tofield’s 9 game win streak – series 2-1 Tofield

Tofield Satellites had a disastrous 3rd period tonight, allowing five goals and dropping their first game in over a month 10-4 at Daysland Arena.

Satellites had the lead twice in the first period alone, and again in the third before giving up a 5-4 deficit going into the third from hell.

Satellites’ high end forwards lots it in the final frame, both getting into scraps while another star forward Jeff Bienvenue went down to injury.

The loss was Satellites’ first after a nine-game winning-streak since losing game 1 to Sedgewick Sabres in the opening round.
