Editorial: Instant Messaging

Technology has created different mediums to instantly deliver information to the masses.

How accurate or insightful this information is varies greatly, but I did get an earful and eyeful when I went onto “Tofield Today” this past week courtesy of a colleague who allowed me to use her site.

There was a lot of diversity in the topics and comments; but generally I concluded it was more about neighbours helping neighbours than anything else.

There were several examples of this; some of which I will share with you.

There was a “creepy guy” going door to door trying to sell some type of educational materials. While it appeared to be suspicious and odd, police were able to determine that the individual did work for a reputable company with a business license, however…
