Members of Sierra Roth’s motorcross and school family held fundraisers this past week to help the Grade 10 Tofield School student who is recovering in hospital from a serious motorcross accident which happened three weeks ago.
Roth, a bright and beautiful 16-year-old, is described as outgoing, smart, athletic and a fierce competitor by her friends, and is now coping with paralysis from the waist down after breaking her back during a recent competi- tion.
She is currently under-going rehabilitation at the Glenrose Hospital, and trying to cope with the pain and the possibility of never walking again.
It has been a very emotional and difficult time for Sierra and her family, but her schoolmates and fellow motocross riders…
