Tofield’s new Belvedere playground a hit with youngsters

The new playground at Belvedere Park on the east side of Tofield is a hit with the youngsters, who have been frolicking on the new equipment ever since it was completed on Friday.

Town Assistant CAO Jeff Edwards reported that the new playground was completed at a total cost of $40,000.

“They completed the installation of the new playground today,” said Edwards last Friday. “It is ready to go.”

The town purchased the play structure from Sunshine Playgrounds, a local business, which removed the old playground equipment before installing the new structures. The site preparation was done by Town of Tofield employees.
