Two girls win nationally in Legion poster contest
Two Holden Colony School students have won on the national level for posters entered in the Royal Canadian Legion’s Poster and Literary Contests for posters, essays and poems.
The two girls submitted their posters through the Tofield Legion, Branch No. 91, and each won second place in the black and white category.
Student Marion Hofer won second place in the Junior category for Grades 4-6, and Jessica Hofer also placed second in the Primary category for Grades 1-3.
Tofield Legion President Barbara Ferguson was very proud of the achievement the girls had accomplished.
