Former county councillor Gene Hrabec to run again in Division 3’s municipal election

Former county councillor Gene Hrabec has announced his intention to try and regain his seat on Beaver County Council for Division 3 in the upcoming municipal elections Oct. 21.

In the 2010 elections, Hrabec lost after serving one term in office to Ron Yarham, who is currently serving as Deputy Reeve.

The following is a statement issued by Hrabec announcing his intention to run for councillor in Beaver County:

“After the last election, karma presented me with three years to consider and prepare myself for taking another run at Division 3 for municipal councillor. During this time I was allowed to spend more time with my family as they grow up and with my parents. I was fortunate to have more time with my mother prior to her passing after her long battle with cancer and also with my father who is now 90.
