Downtown core buzzes with activity – Town asks for patience from residents for digging and replacing of sidewalks project

The end result promises to be beautiful, but for now Town of Tofield residents will have to put up with an awful lot of noise, dust, mounds of dirt, and parking inconvenience while the second phase of the downtown beautification project is underway on main street.

When people are asked about the project, many say things such as, “how much longer,” “when will it end,” or “this is taking forever.”

To that effect, the town has posted a sign at the south end of main street thanking residents for their patience during the main street upgrades.

Town Assistant CAO Jeff Edwards gave an update last week, stating that “there has been a great deal of progression on main street” from the previous week.
