Seniors Fair: “You have to be interested in more than your own aches and pains” – Stauffer

The 4th annual Tofield/Ryley Seniors Health and Wellness Fair was held on Thursday at the Community Hall in Tofield, and the five or six dozen in attendance were treated to a full line-up of speakers and displays.

One couple in attendance was Merlin and Betty Lou Stauffer, who have been quite involved with seniors activities for years in and around Tofield.

Merlin, the former pastor of the Mennonite Church in Tofield, said he thought the best talk was called “Habits of Happy Seniors” by Rosabelle Daugela.

“I found it the most inter-esting,” said the former handivan and Meals On Wheels driver.
