Chili Cook-off groups take good natured ribbing – People’s Choice Award goes to Tofield Fire Department

The first annual Chili Cook-off was held at the town administration building, and pitted five organizations in friendly competition with one another.

The five teams appeared to enjoy the opportunity to give each other a joking hard time as they prepared their different chili dishes.

Cooking started at 11 a.m. outdoors and people were able to come and judge for themselves which was the better dish by writing the name on a ballot. Balloting closed at 3 p.m.
