Giant of a snowman attracting tourist attention in Tofield

A 12-ft. snowman on 54th Avenue in Tofield is becoming a bit of a phenomenon. People are stopping by to take a picture or to have their picture taken with it, said Allyson Desroche.

She and boyfriend Bradley Doucette, along with roommate Brandon Wedge, made the creation on a rainy night about two weeks ago.

“It was just after the rain so it was a good night out,” she said, adding the job took about three to four hours to complete.
