Robbie Burns Night at Tofield

Highland Dancers were part of the fun at Robbie Burns Night at the Tofield Legion Friday night. The dancers performed under the instruction of Tracy Laidlaw. The evening featured a roast beef dinner with haggis and all the trimmings. Tofield Legion Service Officer Brian Donovan recited the “Ode To A Haggis,” by famous Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759-1796), while Vice-President Alan Chessel looked on after bringing the Haggis ceremoniously into the room.
