Beaver County excited about Cargill expansion at Viking
After hearing a presentation concerning the expansion intentions of Cargill at Viking, Beaver County Councillors expressed their excitement at the prospect of increased storage and shipping capacity at the terminal in future.
“It’s interesting and we really look forward to it,” said Reeve Arnold Hanson, who represents the east end of the county in Division 5 where the expansion will occur. “It’s great to hear an expansion is going forwards and upwards.”
Ryan DeChief, general manager for Cargill AgHorizons in Viking, explained that the expansion will mean more business activity at the facility.
