Busy B honours volunteers at Awareness Dinner – Yvonne Brown gets standing ovation
The Busy B Awareness Dinner on Saturday at the Tofield Community Hall served the dual purpose of honouring the organization’s many volunteers, as well as showcasing the myriad projects and good works that result from that labour of love.
Three people were honoured especially that day. Debby Mosby called them up to receive a small gift of appreciation at the end of the dinner.
“An organization like Busy B with a large number of volunteers does not operate efficiently without some key people at the helm,” she said. “Every volunteer is appreciated and important. But today we would like to thank three special people.”
