Around The World: Canadian Figure Skating 2013 Novice Pair Champions highlight ice carnival

The Tofield Figure Skating Club pulled off another wonderful year-end show, this time with the theme of “Around the World!”

The afternoon event Sunday was a colourful display of bright costumes worn by cute little skaters as well as performances by the older skaters that show the skill and technique they have achieved over the past winter of practicing and competing.

Guest performers included, for the second year in a row, local 16-year-old Taylor LeClaire and her skating Pairs partner Christopher Mostert, 18.

The two won bronze at the 2013 Canadian Figure Skating Championships and returned this year to compete once again as Singles and Pair partners… For more see the March 25/14 issue of the Tofield Mercury
