Tofield Minor Hockey Association banquet and awards night

The Tofield Minor Hockey Association (TMHA) held its annual year-end banquet and awards Sunday at the Tofield Community Hall. Emcees for the occasion were Sandra Codd and Amber Cross. Codd read a message from TMHA President Mike Herklotz, who welcomed everyone to the 2013-14 TMHA banquet.

“The more people we have sharing their time and talent the more it makes the association strong,” he said.

Codd also gave Larry Suchy and the referees a special recognition for their help throughout the hockey season, as well as to Larry Gill for his work with the skate sharpening machine.

Then presentations were made to the Initiation 2, Novice 2, Atom, Initiation 1, Novice 1, PeeWee, Bantam, Midget Female, and Midget teams, as a reward for all their hard work during the hockey season.
